i am going on a prong horn hunt in wyoming this week and took two of my favorite rifles for a final check, last week i sighted them in and then cleaned them and yesterday i shot them. target #1 was shot with my remington 700 dm 4x12 leupold in 7mm-mag 150gr bullet at 3000fps, the first shot was in the red dot center from a cold clean barrrel, the second shot was from a dirty cold barrel and hit at about 2:45 next to the red center dot. target #2 was shot with a remington 700 2.5x8 leupold in 7mm-08 120gr bullet at 3000fps, the first shot was about 2" high in line with red dot center from a cold clean barrel, the second shot was from a cold dirty barrel and was right next to the first one, i lowered the poi four clicks-2" to shoot on at 200yrds. these rifle all ways have shot very well from the get go new out of the box. i have decided to take the 7mm-08. eastbank.
