2010 Gun wish list folks

Still trying to figure out the particular models.
I'm thinking that I might wind up with a 1911 - either Springfield Armory or Kimber.
I've also been really craving a single shot big bore rifle. Maybe a .338 Lapua.
Finally, a carry gun for the [soon-to-be] wife. Perhaps a small 9mm similar to a PF9.

My grandfather left me an old die for 6.5mm rounds. I've been kicking around the idea of building a light-duty bolt action carbine around this caliber for some time (probably since I discovered the die) and who knows, maybe this is the year I'll get to it. It would just be a S&G kinda rifle, more for varmint/pest/just general fun than anything else. Short barrel, light weight, iron sights or maybe a low power scope, I'm not sure. But I'm open for suggestions :D

I've been on a rifle kick for the last few years...it's time to up the pistol side of the house.

Sig P239 DAK 9mm for a holster that I already own.
STIs (really want the Rangemaster in 9mm and maybe a Brazos Limited pistol)
Wife wants a O/U...been looking at 20 gauge Brownings.

Next AR is in 300 Whisper....just need upper and optics. Of course those are the most expensive.

Honestly, for 2010, I'll be happy with the Whisper upper and a Limited gun.

AR-15 .22 conversion kit
pocket pistol of some type for a BUG
Ammo. Lots of ammo. And more ammo. And some magazines to fill with the ammo. And some more ammo.
Money and time to take off to go to some classes. S
S&W to finish up working on my Model 34 and ship it back...

And, that's about it. I'm pretty satisfied with the guns I have. I barely have the time to shoot them all anyway...

1. Ruger Bisley Vaquero 45Colt
2. Glock 19OD G3
3. FEG AMD-65
4. KelTec PMR-30
5. Case of 22WMR
6. 4 Cases of 7.62x39
7. BCM SS410 16" 1:8 upper
8. 4 Cases 77gr 5.56x45
9. Finish paying for work being done on Winchester 88
10. Remington 700 in 222Rem
11. Fusion Commander in 45ACP
12. Magazines, Magazines, Magazines.
13. Multitudes of misc. dies, powder, brass, bullets, lights, lasers, mounts, slings, scopes, etc, etc, etc.

Then, if i have any money left at the endof the year:
14. Springfield XD40c
15. Ruger Super Blackhawk 4 5/8 SS.
16. Marlin Guide Gun 45Gov't
17. S&W 65 3"
18. Browning X-Bolt 300Win Mag
19. Colt New Agent
20. Marlin 1894SS 44mag

I will not have the money to buy all of these for several years, but my general wish list carrying into 2010:

FAL
M1A
Yugo underfolder AK
SA M1911A1 (no need to get too fancy)
SVT-40
M44
Arisaka T38
K98/M98 mauser
K31

Unless I win a $5000 gun shopping spree, I'll be happy with two of the cheaper choices.

Kel-tec RFB... Maybe, I might have to sell a kidney, but I want it, or a SBR AR-10 (or variant) with a 12" upper and a 20" bull barrel. I want big boom in lil package.
I think that'll be a whole year of savings, so I'll focus on that.

I turn 21 this year :) and since I bought three long guns (all of which were recently lost in a boating accident on Lake Superior) the year I turned 18 I think I'll do the same for handguns this year.

-CZ-75B
-Ruger GP100 (in 357)
-Springfield XD compact in 45
in that order

I'm going to be ambitious and say I would like to pick up the following this year:

1. A home defense shotgun, 12ga pump
2. A commander sized 1911 (probably RIA or Century since I'm poor)
3. A Ruger Redhawk or Alaskan
4. A nice aftermarket stock, and drop in hammer/extractor for my Remmy 597
5. Grips for various hand guns I own

I was just thinking about this - here's what I'm looking at, roughly in order of "want / expense ratio", for my short-term and medium-term lists (out to 6 years):

1. (definitely) GOOD 9mm pistol suppressor (to use with 9mm pistol, 9mm carbine, .338 Spectre carbine subsonic, .22lr pistol, and .22lr rifles); also will need a threaded barrel for the CZ 75s.
2. (probably) Taurus 738 TCP, .380 acp (for "jogging carry", belly band)
3. (maybe) Kel-Tec PMR-30, .22 mag (for fun)
4. (probably) Boberg XR9, 9x19 (for everyday SmartCarry)
5. (probably) Kel-Tec RFB, .308 (for fun and younameit)
6. (maybe) MSAR MCS-08, 9x19 (for fun)
7. (probably) Air Force Condor, .22 cal PCP airgun (for backyard critters)
8. (maybe) Ruger Redhawk 5.5", .45 Colt (for hunting backup, fun, younameit)
9. (probably) Stevens Goldwing 612 SxS 26", 20 ga (upland birdies)
10. (maybe) Browning BL-22
11. (probably) My custom long-range heavy bench turnbolt in either 7mm WSM, .280 Rem AI, 6.5mm-'06, or 6.5-.284 Norma (for sniping, what else? :D )
12. (definitely) My custom SBR suppressable .338 spectre turnbolt (for fun)
13. (definitely) My custom SBR suppressable .22lr turnbolt (for fun)
14. (maybe) Bull-pupped Saiga 12, 12 ga (for fun & home defense)

In truth, I'd be happy to come up with any 2 or 3 by year's end, or just one of the most expensive ones (#s 11-14), since I'm now broke.

Believe it or not, I've got all of the REST of the bases covered. :p

I got 2 guns in the past 12 months and started with 0 so here goes:

1. Mossberg 500 to match mine for my dad
2. Rossi .410/.22 Combo for my sister
3. .22 Semi-Auto Pistol for my other sister + Relaxation of NY Gun Laws

For me in no particular order:

AR-10 (.308 AR-15) - If your gonna buy an AR Rifle then you may as well buy one that causes earthquakes when it goes off.
30-06 or 30-30 High-Power Bolt/Lever Action to hunt with

A handgun to deer hunt with. It'll probably end up being a Ruger .44 Mag. I'd also like a Mosin 91/30 and as cheap as they are, there's no reason not to have one. Or two or three or four.

Rancho Relaxo...I love your screen name! It's great. I'd consider it as a name for my little farm, except that it's exactly the opposite physically (but mentally, it is).

Me: small/medium size "reliable" 9mm for CC.

Must be lighter and smaller than S&W fs M&P but doesnt need to be micro. Prefer 8-10 round capacity minimum. To me, the M&P compact is still too big.

I try to read all the reviews of the smaller 9mms you folks post, so thanks very much.
