First round of trap for the year this morning. I had bought back an 1100 trap from a friend who can't shoot anymore figuring one of my shooting granddaughters might like it. Monte Carlo, gorgeous wood, step rib barrel(s), one full, one mod. He had added a Morgan pad with an additional spacer. When I had it 20-25 years back it fit me fine. Today, in winter gear and with the long pull I had a heck of a time. Got 17/25. Now to pull that pad, spacer and put a standard pad on it and see how the girl likes it. She shoots my 1100 field gun with pad quite well.
Never gave a thought to the added length and I've been doing this for sixty years.
I should see a vast improvement when I pull old TB out of the safe.
