The only bad thing about the MKIII 22/45 models is the grip is significantly smaller [thinner] than the MKII and it doesn't feel anything close to a 1911. I opted for the MKIII678 instead as it had a better feel [thicker] and more weight as well. BTW, it you could add grips to the 22/45 that would be great but you can't because the frame is polymer. I always wonder why Ruger made the grips/frame so small.I think the Ruger may be my ticket. I have a 1911 and enjoy the grip angle over that of something like a glock.
Everyone needs to have or at least have a chance to shoot a Hi Standard pistol. These were (Ct. made only) quality pistols made by men and women who cared about their products
