.22 - Browning Buckmark or Ruger MK II/III?

I can't give any advice on the Buckmark. I have a MKIII512 and MKII10 Clark Custom. At about $300 new a 5.5 bull barrell Ruger leaves plenty of room for trigger improvenments or optics. When you call a Ruger a tack driver it means it's accurate and you can drive tacks with it, and probably larger nails without damage, they are rugged. I am happy with both and will be adding many more soon. As above it's about what's comfortable and what pleases the eye. Good luck. Takedown really isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, especially if you get out the old manual and follow the steps. A used MKII will save even more money. The MKIIIs extra internals can be dealt with if its an issue(mag disconnect etc.) but at your discretion.
