You really can't go by 1932 as a defining date.

The high-speed phase-in was started in 1931, but not completed until 1933.

And a lot of older guns were converted after they were made.

The only reliable ID is the checkered oval (Standard velocity) or grooved rectangle (Hi-Speed) housing.
