Anyone know anything about the Marlin 25M .22 mag? I'm thinking about getting one and want to know what y'all think.

I have had a couple and they are decent rifles. Trigger is a little heavy, and the bolt is not the smoothest out there, but they shoot quite accurately and are a lot of fun to shoot.

Have had one for about 15 years or so. It has been a excellent "truck gun" and has never failed when I needed it. So far, its taken Rabbit, squirrell, coyote, coon, cat and turkey. I have no complaints.

I dont have a 25M but I have an 883 with I think is the same rifle except tube-fed.

Plenty accurate.....it has a micro-groove barrel which I think is an improvement over regular rifling. I dont have any trouble with the trigger, far nicer then the trigger on my Marlin 60, that trigger is plain nasty.

I have a Bushnell .22 rimfire scope on mine and I can usually fire 3 rounds and get 3 holes touching at 50 yards with ease. Where I shoot I cant go much past 50 yards but Im sure the capability is there.

Good rifles, but they can be picky about ammo. My wife and I each have one. Mine eats up Winchester Super X, hers likes CCI Maxi-Mags. Swap ammo and groups become patterns.

Hey thanks a bunch. Thats about what I expected out of it. My other Marlin is just like that, but I wanted to be sure.

What do you know about the Weaver V9 Scope? This rifle has that scope on it but i've never seen one before. It's a 3x9x50, so i figure its good, but is it better than good?
