I also found the old RCBS funnel to leak powder with .223. I have been using a plastic MTM funnel for .223 which worked well, but recently purchased the new Lyman Brass Smith funnel set. I used it for the first time on Saturday. Even after treating with a drier sheet I still have static cling for the first 50 rounds or so. After that it seem to acquire a good coating of graphite and worked much better. I still found myself having to tap it against the case mouth to drop granules clinging to the removable caliber-specific insert. The jury is still out but I think after it breaks in it should be fine. I was expecting less cling from the aluminum, but it was a very damp day, so maybe that was part of it.
