Do any of you guys have load data for .223 rem using H4895. I can find data for IMR4895 but I'm having issues finding the other. I'll be loading some .224/ 52 grain and 55grain hornady a-max and v-max bullets for a 1-9" twist. the 52 grain are boattails and the others are soft point. (thanks for the bullets oldfarmerbuck). Any input would be appreciated.

www.data.hodgdon.com shows 25.0-27.0gr for a 53gr Sierra soft point and 25.0-26.0gr for a 55gr Speer soft point, both seated to 2.20". I would use that data for the bullets you have but I personally prefer to seat 50-55gr bullets to 2.24" unless they have a cannelure that would work well with a 2.20" COL, even then I might ignore the listed COL.
Bookmark that website, its good for all Hodgdon, IMR, and Winchester powders that are currently produced.

As always, use at your own risk.

I load for my 14" T. Contender in 223, using 26.5gr of H4895 with the 52gr Nosler Custom Competition, and it's very accurate, running just under 2900fps average.

H4895 is one of the most versatile powders going and has the added advantage of being nearly unaffected by temperature extremes.
