Chuck, The scope is a Leupold-Gilmore LG-1, a red dot only. It does have the small two-minute dot, which seems to help in fine shooting.
I am shooting from a bench using sandbags under the gun at the bottom of the grip and at the front of the frame in the trigger guard area. A bit of the rear part of the barrel is also on the bags. I try to bed the gun as much as possible by gently tapping it down onto the bags. I am shooting two-handed, resting my wrists on the bags and my arms on the top of the bench.
The groups pictured are the best I can shoot with the cheap bulk-packed ammo I am using, but I think that some experimentation with premium target ammunition might result in somewhat better groups.
The accuracy of my gun improved a little after it had fired two or three thousand rounds.
Good luck, Jim
