For any of you folks in areas that still have a 22 ammo drought, I just ordered 10 boxes of Federal Value Pack (325-rd. box variety) from Cabela's. Had to order over $99 to get $5 flat shipping rate.
Federal 325-rd. Value Pack (plated rounds).
$19.99 / box
$5 flat shipping if you order over $99 (use code 17FLAT)
5 boxes will be $99.95, which will qualify you for $5 flat rate shipping.
$19.99 box x 5 boxes = $99.95 + $5 shipping = $104.95 + $5.30 tax = $110.25 TOTAL
Price per round is .0615076 per round.
Price per round after shipping is .00645846
Price per round after shipping and tax is .0678461

Of course, if you have a Cabela's near you, you should be able to ship to store free?

Bi-Mart has .22 federal for $2.48 a box of 50.
5 cents a round.
Still a 2 box limit but their shelves were full.
I know Bi-Mart is a local place but it seems prices are coming down and supply is going up.

22 LR everywhere in my neck of the woods... WalMart, LGS, even Cabelas has it sitting on the shelf... CCI, Winchester, Ely, SK, and a few other brands I can't think of at the moment. Of course not my preferred brand!

Plenty of 22 mag and tons of 17 too.

Here in northwestern Illinois it is available enough that I stopped trying to stockpile awhile ago. I've found it at Walmart, and when I travel toward Chicago I stop at GAT Guns north of Elgin, IL and buy a couple of boxes of 500, or 333, or 525 or whatever they have at the time. Recently I have been shooting 22's only with my S&W 617 and a revolver will take just about any ammo on the market. Now that I have a new Ruger Mark IV I may have to be a bit more selective in the 22 ammo that I buy. But overall I think the shortages are mostly gone, and as the fear of gun and ammo restrictions fades away under the new Administration, hoarding and stockpiling should ease up considerably. Maybe someday I'll be comfortable again keeping zero rounds on hand and just stop at the store on the way to the range without worry that I might not find any ammo there. But I never expect to go back to 2 cents a round.

Rural king has 22lr every time I go there, it is all the armscor stuff from the Philippines. Dunhams and dicks reliably have 22lr in stock, brands vary between Remington golden bullet, federal auto match, and Winchester.

Wal-Mart 22lr shelves are still bare 5 years later. Retirees still wait at the gun counter and know shipment times, and buy it all up.

The local Cabela's and Bass Pros's Shops has a lot of . 2 2 rimfires ammo on the shelves. Some Federal and plenty of the fancy smancy Euro bullets.

The .22lr ammo is available almost everywhere. The original post dates back to March of last year. It is ok to shop responding to it now, hint.

Nah, there's still no .22 out here.

It's good to see that it's readily available online, though.
