All 3 of my favorite .22s prefer the same stuff, Federal Match. I have found it to be far more accurate at 50yds than CCIs or Winchesters. However winchester did do better out of the Savage than Federal, and CCI did better out of the H&R 199 than anything else.
I think I will stick with the 3 that like the same stuff.

I have had such good experience with Remington Thunderbolts that I buy them 5,000 rounds at a time. They have consistently fired as-well-as as Eley at 1/5th the cost. In most factory rimfire fires and pistols, there is considerable chamber difference, even those with MATCH chambers.

Cool details in that chart! Thanks for sharing those with us.

I also love the CCI mini-mag solids. I keep a few boxes of them around for the things where I need some serious .22 ammo.
The bulk pack stuff works fine for plinking but I don't like JHP for hunting or pest control uses. They either damage too much meat on a small animal or suffer from lack of penetration on something slightly larger.
One other that has impressed me is Federal American Eagle High Velocity 40 grain LRN. It's reliable from my 10/22 and put six magazine fulls into a 2.5" circle at 50 yards when fired offhand. I'm sure that I could cut that down to much smaller if I took just a little care and used a bench because I've never been much of an offhand rifle marksman.
One other that I think would be fun to have a small supply of - CCI .22 Long. My dad got a box last week for discrete pest control. Although they have proven to be underpowered for that purpose, they are very quiet and seem like they'd be a whole lot of fun to shoot.
But they won't cycle the 10/22 I'm sure...
