243 load data question

hey guys,

i dont have my book on sierra load data and need some info from yall.

im loading 95 grain smk into a 243 and need the basic data

oal.
coal.
min max for rl15
min max for h4350
min max for varget

i cant find anything online (my google skills may be lacking) and im heading to the range tomorrow.


any info would be awsome!

ps. not looking for loads just load data

oal i simply try and seat them at a starting point of .030 off the rifling, it all depends of course on your gun, then play around with seating depth once i have found the best shooting load based on powder and charge. Currently I have mine seated where they engage the rifling.

Start here. The 95g SMK's will work with this info. I use the same data with both Varget and Rel15 in my 6mm Rem loads.

I don't see a 95 grain bullet in this data, but some careful extrapolation between the 90 and 100 grain data should help.

You might want to try the old long cut H4831.

Most loads do not fill the 243 case. H4831 does.
