Regarding the bullet deflection business, I am satisfied that any bullet can easily be deflected by intervening foliage, branches, and such. I suppose some bullets may deflect slightly less or more, but in the context of the many feet of deflection that even a light screen of brush can cause, a few inches more or less is irrelevant. So I never worry about the matter when selecting a cartridge.
