Anyone here shoot Wolf 168 gr 30-06?

How about PMC 147 gr Korean Surplus?

Thinking of buying some for my 1903A3, rather than shooting up my hand crafted re-loads. Sportsman's Guide has a good price on both, though I can buy Wolf in smaller lots.

I have yet to try the Wolf 30-06 either, But I bought 800 rounds of the Korean from SG. Its as good as any mil-surp in my opinion. My Garand cycled fine with it.

I'll toss a couple of My observations out to consider. I shot the PMC Korean surplus in my Garand and 1903. I use the M-2 168gr. FMJ and it seems to shoot great in both. I don't load for the Garand,"(Cycle worries) but I do load for an 03A3 Larry provided Me with. I load cases trimmed to 2.50 and IMR 4831 with a 173gr. Lake City Match FMJ. I went to the 173 to get the length I needed to reach the rifleing. My OAL is 3.350 which is pretty long, but shoots great in the A3. It improved the accuracy of the A3 by about 25%. The best round I've used for the 1903 is again the M-2 168gr. mentioned before. I purchase the loaded ammo and the points from surplus suppliers. Best of luck.

Well I went ahead and ordered the Wolf ammo, 168 gr sp @2800 fps, very similar to Federal 168 Match king ballistics, while its not a boat-tail, I have a lot of 165gr sierra btsp handloads for comparison.

$24 for a hundred can't be beat. Now if it gets here before Sunday is another matter.
