30.06 VS 270 WITH a 150 grain bullet

Well I have pretty much gone to using 130 grains for my 270. And 180 grains for the .06. I have floored several critters with the 270. All of them ran and a couple took the bullet with them. I feel the need for my 270 when I hit the hill country and have longer shots. If I need a heavier bullet I've decided to let my .06 with 180 grain rem core locks do the work. I guess I'm saying I feel the 270 is perfect for deer with a 130 grain bullet. I feel the 30.06 is great for deer, elk, moose, and even big bear with the correct 180 grain bullet. Chuck hawks has an article on the two that I fully agree with.
