If dubious has been following this thread, I am sure by now he understands he needs to crimp, despite some of the prior posts. Idano is right, some of the advise is pretty loose, but with lots of experienced folks in between telling him what he really needs, I bet he's got it. I never reloaded the 30-30, although I had one many moons ago, but I have read enough over the years to know everyone here who is telling him to crimp is right on target.
