30-30 or 35 Remington?

I have owned tubular leverguns in 30-30 , 338 ,
35 Rem ,356win,38-55 , 375 Win , 444 , 450 M & 45-70
The 35 Rem when handloaded is a different beast
they are some great jacketed bullets .. Speer 180gr , & Speer 200gr .. the 180gr is one tuff bullet .. I used it in a 356 Win & 358 Win ( boltgun)

I haven’t been able to hunt in the past few years due to excess work and now health problems...
I sold all but 3 of my 38 leverguns... all three 336 in 30-30 ... One Spikehorn , One Texan and one beater ...

The 30-30 has always worked for me ... but if you handload ...the 35 Rem is the pick if you are looking at Elk of larger Black Bears

Empaths rarely kill. It is too traumatic for them. But the .35 Remington often causes an emphatic kill.

Sometimes I think my phone inserts the wrong word on purpose.
