Tried a search, got nothing. Anyone load .30 Carbine with Red Dot, similar to "The Load" using reduced Red Dot charges in full-size rifle loads?

Why? I have a lot of Promo and H110 is unobtanium at the moment, and has been for 11 months.

This would be for use in GI M1 Carbines.

You could probably find Red Dot data somewhere for the 32-20 WCF, and go from there.

But as already said, Red Dot is WAY too fast for the .30 Carbine gas system.

Especially if you want it to work as a semi-auto.

It won't work the action with any safe charge of Red Dot.

Try Lil Gun. I see it around all the time and have had good success with it. I normally use 4227 but ran out so I tried the Lil Gun.

Stupid question: would H4895 work?

No, probably not, it's way too slow. AA#9 will work, or 2400, 296 (H110), or 4227. I think AA-4100 should be okay but I haven't tried it. If you're shooting this in a handgun, you can use faster powders like AA#7 or Blue Dot or Unique (not easy to find load data)
