Just a simple question; why is everyone carrying their speed loaders on the strong side? Do you move the gun to your left hand when loading with a speed loader?

Yes, the accepted practice is to dump the empties with the support hand while going for the speed loader with the strong hand. That does involve switching the revolver between hands during the reload, but it works quite well.

I much prefer the method being taught by Michael DeBethancourt and others where you keep the revolver in your strong hand (right) and manipulate the cylinder and speedloader with your left. It feels weird the first few times, then once you get it you wonder why any one still juggles the gun between their hands.
