I have hunted with several rifles and pistols in the past. I have rifles that fit what and where I hunt. I have a 7mm,several 308's,45-70's and 300 weatherby's.
I'm in the process of building an AR in 300 blackout. It will have a 16" barrel that I will be shooting super sonic ammo out of with a possible suppressor in the future. I plan on hunting hogs and possible smaller deer, less than 200lbs. Why? Becasue I can.
I'm stuck on what scope to get. I'm looking at either a Nikon p300 2x-8x bdc or a Bushnell 1x-4x with throw down luminated reticle. I plan on using it at less than 150 yards. Opinions?

I use a redfield 2-7 on mine. If I was going to do it again I'd go with the Nikon p300 or if I wanted to spend more money the eotech with the 300blk reticle and a tripler.

For right now my Redfield works fine for subsonic hunting. Zero at 75yards, 50yards is about a 1" high and 100 yards is about 1.5" low.

1-4x is what I have on mine, the round isn't something I would consider long range by any means.

What is your load data to achieve that? Would be impressive for supersonic, never had a load that flat going under the speed of sound.
