Yippeeee!! Maybe I will buy a lotto ticket now that my luck has changed!!! PM'ing info momentarily. THANKS!!!!

I bought a life member ship last year for $300.

I understand they do this so they can fight the battles for us.

To those who paid more in the past, thank you.

It's been about two weeks since I put the packet in the mail. Has anyone that joined through me had anything happen ( check clear, get anything from the NRA )?

I'm glad people are signing up, you really can't beat the $300 Life deal they are giving.

I plan on updrading my membership to "Endowment Member" when I get the chance to.

When I signed up for the $300 Life Membership under a friend, it took 2-3 weeks for the check to clear and around 4-6 weeks to get any confirmation in the mail

$300.00 NRA life member -- Help

Anybody out there still got room for one more member at the SP rate? I have an annual membership and got a letter for a $500 life membership. Sure would like to save the extra $200 for ammo!

I just signed up over the Holidays for the $500 Life Membership.

Thank God for the NRA and all of its supporters.

-Cheers
Lifer!

By the way, I recommend forfeiting the magazine to save the costs to the NRA. It's available online.

-Cheers
That surprises me. I would think they get advertising dollars based on their subscription numbers. If that count goes down, there advertisers may not pay as much to advertise or advertise at all if the numbers go too low. So by opting out, if enough people do it, the NRA could be hurt.

I would think printing and mailing costs would be lower than advertising revenue, but maybe not. Do they indicate the opt out as saving them money, or just a convenience of not receiving the magazine?

And if they do say it saves them money I wonder if the manager in charge of the website and mailing/printing has spoken with their marketing/sales manager....LOL

I am a life member.

NRA will not send me my magazine. I have tried mutiple times and they just won't. NRA will NEVER get another penny from me.

GOA for me.

tuckerdog1, I haven't heard anything, and my cheque has not yet cleared my bank. I'll advise you when I see some activity.

Flyboy ( and all that went through me ), I called the NRA on Friday, just to kind of check for progress. Did a random sample of a few folks that were current annual members. Couldn't check if checks had cleared. But checked their membership status to see if any had been upgraded to Life. Unfortuantely, none had been. But I was told the address on the envelope provided, was to the NRA's mass mailing center. And that they are swamped with incoming mail on a daily basis. Was advised to check back again next Friday for possible progress.

I'd just like to extend my gratitude once again as I got my Life Membership
through this program last year. You are doing a true service for 2A.
