Hello y'all!
I'm in a bit of a pickle... I need to find verified safe load data that I can make a ladder with for 180gr Nosler Accubonds (Loonwulf sent me 100 of them) and H1000 or Retumbo.
I've looked in every manual I have and even checked Noslers website and no one seems to list a 300 PRC load with 180gr Nosler Accubonds... I can find data with Hornady ELD-X and BTSP bullets and such. Nosler lists online a max charge of 80gr of H1000 with their 190gr BTHP bullets so I would think I could start with mid 70s? I'm trying to get something verified safe and do a ladder for the 100 Accubonds Loonwulf sent me. Thanks. I will add I have a decent amount Hornady 208gr ELD-M bullets and Sierra 220gr SMKs but they aren't optimistic for hunting IMHO.

Think the 300 weatherby is the same case capacity so that may help some, from what I've seen middle 70s in the 300 should be fine to start with. It's ok using data from other similarly constructed bullets just don't start near the top.

Ok thanks for some reassurance!
The thing is these will be for my cousin in Colorado so I won't be able to shoot them to test them in his gun... I'd have to load a ladder and ship them to him. Still haven't gotten our UPS shipping stuff figured out yet...

My hottest loads for 300wm and 200eldx are in the mid 70's with H1000, so I would also think you'd be ok to start in low 70's with the PRC. There's not as much difference between 300wm and 300PRC as some would have you think. If you look at them side by side, the case length is almost identical, but the PRC has larger diameter at the neck and flatter shoulder, which is why it gains the extra case volume that 300wm doesn't have.

I’m in the middle of helping a couple buddies put a PRC through its paces. If is a proper 300 PRC, it’s a 1:8 twist, so a 180 is pretty light for the cartridge design. (Fwiw, I know a few that swear by the 212eldx) I’m wondering if Lyman 51 has anything comparable? I believe that has the PRC.

From a bullet stand point, they are about the same externally, with a similar internal construction, as a Hornady 180 Interbond or SST. So I would just use Hornadys data to get you started.
