303 loads

I need some loading data for cast 185 gr. bullets in british 303,perferably using imr 4895 ,or some other rifle powder.TIA mike

IMR4895 is a good idea, keep the pressure way down, and the brass will last.
IMR4895 is a slow powder that can work well with reduced loads.


1) 20 gr IMR4895 and 185 gr gives 10 kpsi and 1300 fps.
2) 35 gr IMR4895 and 185 gr gives 30 kpsi and 2100 fps.

You will find the load you want somewhere in between the two above loads.
