I don't load that one, but my brother in law has for years. I'm pretty he is using H4350 and IMR-4064 for his sporterized one. He has been using that rifle for deer for decades, it has been one very accurate little rig. I just love the .303 british, really fun cartridge to shoot. The throat is all but gone on that rifle, but it still shoots very well considering.

If you would like, I'll give him a jingle tomorrow and get the load details from him for you.

GS
Thank you...

BL(C)-2 and 174 grain bullets are favorites. With the other stuff it sounds like you are good to go. The .303 is really hard on brass and it should be measured after it is used and trimmed if necessary. Also make a "case feeler" by bending a paper clip or other small wire to check the interior of the case for a "ridge" indicating imminent case separation.

Have fun and be safe.

Yes, I was already warned by a buddy about the 303 brass, thanks...

I was told not to adjust the dies as usual but to nudge them down until I just touch the shoulder since that cartridge headspaces on the rim instead of the shoulder. He said that will increase the brass life and it does make sense.

Correct. Avoid sellior and bellot brass if you can. It's a hard brass and case head separations are frequent. I've managed 5 reloads before I got them which is good according to other shooters. Privi is good brass from what I've heard, with friends reloading 11 with no issues. I have no experience with privi in 303 yet. Hope this helps.
