I would like to reload these, have a set of dies, problem is finding fmj bullets.
Located this in another forum:

The .32 ACP can be reloaded, but few bother to do so, as handling the teeny cases and bullets is a chore. (Maximum case length is only .68".) Most of those that do reload .32 ACP use ordinary .308" (.30 caliber) bullets, although the SAAMI specification calls for .311" bullets. According to the 26th edition of the Hodgdon Data Manual 2.2 grains of HP38 can drive a 71 grain jacketed bullet to a MV of 821 fps, and 2.5 grains of HP38 can drive the same bullet to a MV of 860 fps. These loads were chronographed in a 3.75" barrel.

I have .30 110g fmj bullets, use reddot exclusively, will be shooting them in a Walther PP and a Mod 1922 Browning. Any load data for this available?

Thanks

rk

QUITE FRANKLY, YOU ARE PICKING THE WRONG BULLET FOR A 32ACP PISTOL.

Sierra and Hornady both make the correct bullets for the 32ACP pistol and they are readily available in the marketplace.
There are also cast bullets of the correct weight and LENGTH available without too much problem.
The bullet you picked is FAR to long to be correctly used in a 32ACP pistol. Take a look at the length of that 100GR bullet in comparison to the case length.

CAUTION: The following post includes loading data beyond currently published maximums for this cartridge. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Neither the writer, The High Road, nor the staff of THR assume any liability for any damage or injury resulting from use of this information.

In a Kel-Tec P32, I loaded 5.2 gr Power Pistol, 110 gr round nose .308 bullet 1.175" OAL [too long to feed from magazine], it penetrated 5" of Douglas FIr, and the recoil sheared off slide stop/ejector of the pistol. Kel-Tec sent me a new part.

Clark why in the world do you post stuff like that? As if that trainwreck of a post helps the guy's question. Or are you trying to get banned from THR as well?

As for bullets forget about those 110 grainers, I bought 500 71gr FMJ's from midway for less than $30

The "bulk bag" (even by the 100's) from Remington or even MagTech are cheaper and work as well as any 71gr. FMJ. Some larger cast bullet compines list a 71 or 77gr. RNL bullet...but they are a bit more picky about shooting well.

Once onwed a 6" target sighted Berretta that showed that the little round has a good deal of accuracy in it if it's loaded right. That 1922 Browning is a prety long platform for that round...the sights suck, but all "pocket gun" sights leave something to be desired. Accuracy over power...so long as it functions, it it groups well, can have a good time with that little .32.

Are other cast bullets, and some 60gr. JHP's to try; these usually aren't all that accurate but can be driven to pretty fast speeds and will expand...notice at least some people have been loading 85gr. JHP's but in real life you can't drive them fast enough to get them to expand.
