The manuals I have were all over the place with load data for IMR4064 in 35 remington. I looked at the online load data from the powder manufacturer's site, researched here a little, and settled with 36 grns. under 200 gr. rn, at 2.510 oal. I made 3 and they shot very nice, so I went ahead and loaded a couple dozen more. Just thought I'd share instead of lurking so much.

I need to pick up some .35 Rem dies. I haven't shot my Marlin in ages. A friend just told me the other day that he was selling his TC Contender and he was going to give me whatever .35 Rem ammo he has left and whatever brass he has. I tossed my .35 brass long ago thinking I would never get into reloading. Mistake.

39 grs. of 4320 with the 200gr. Hornady RN has always been the load for my Remington 141.

The rifle/load has never let me down and the first three stay inside
1 1/2" at 100 with a 3X Leupold.

Copy that Strut.
A quick search on GB search shows .35 Remington brass is now a collector's item!

Confirmed- friend has .35 Rem brass he is going to give me along with some ammo. Don't know how many of each. He wouldn't budge on letting his dies go though, he figures he may need them again sometime. If that's the case, not sure why he's giving up the brass and rounds.

I haven't loaded much for my 35. I picked up some LeverEvolution powder, some Hornady round nose bullets, and I managed to pick up some new brass in a trade. I'm set for a while.
I have seen that people convert 308 brass to 35 Remington, so I may try that for fun.

I just got done loading 30 cartridges for my Rem model 14 in .35 Rem.
10 - 34 gr Benchmark Speer #2435 35 Cal 180gr Flat Nose
10 - 39 gr Leverevolution 200 gr Soft Point
10 - 39.5 gr Leverevolution 200 Soft Point

Taking the ole pump out next trip to the range. Will give a report after I get back. Might be a couple weeks.

LATE EDIT: Got out today. For my Remington model 14 ...
10 - 34 gr Benchmark Speer #2435 35 Cal 180gr Flat Nose - Very accurate
10 - 39 gr Leverevolution 200 gr Soft Point - Very accurate with authority

10 - 39.5 gr Leverevolution 200 Soft Point - Too much pressure, spread out a bit. Would probably be better with 180 gr.
Conclusion -
I found my loads I was looking for.

My best .35Rem loads are with H4895, LVR, and BLC2(cast bullets).
.35Rem data is skewed very light du to older semi-autos. Later levers, Rem. Slide and bolt actions, and T/C's can handle heavier loads.

The three best .35rem jacketed bullets are in low/no supply. The Sierra 200gr RN, Remington 200gr RN Corlokt, and Hornady 180gr SSP (single shot pistol).
I now only use a 220gr cast bullet in the .35Rem. At 2,200 fps over LVR, it'll do ANYTHING I need a .35Rem to do.

I can't remember the exact grains, but if you follow the recipe printed on a can of H322 for the 200 gr bullets, it is a tack driver in a tc contender and a 1970 vintage Marlin 336.

I use the top book loads of IMR3031 with the 200grn Rem bullets.
For plinking I use 2 grains less. The books loads are pretty mild due to the older Standard and Remington autoloaders. I have used hotter loads but the cases are pretty thin so they will expand at the pressure ring long before you over load the more modern rifles. If you value your hard to find .35 Rem brass load it carefully to the data in the manuals.

Reloaded 97 last night
17 - 34 gr Benchmark Speer #2435 35 Cal 180gr Flat Nose
80 - 39 gr Leverevolution 200 gr Soft Point
I liked these loads so much I don't have any empty brass except for 8 " Super Speed " where those have left behind an outer ring in the primer pocket.
How do I fix these Super Speed pockets? Do I need a swagging tool set or for 8 pc brass is there a trick?

Deburr the edge of the primer pocket with a deburring tool to give about a .010 wide flat on the angle.
