Well we are off to a good start. We have six deer and another week and a half to go. The 350 Legend is doing a good job so far with the 150 grain billets.
First deer a small doe standing still. Shot it hehind the left shoulder quartering away . Bullet exited in front of the right shoulder. It ran about 15 yards.

Next deer a big doe. Standing broadside. Shot it just behind the right shoulder and exited just behind the left shoulder. Lung shot. It ran about 80 yards and done.

3rd deer a nice spike buck about 40 yards out quartering away. Hit it just behind the left shoulder and bullet exited out of the right side of its neck. Dead in its tracks. It just floped upside down.

The 4th deer yesterday afternoon. A nice doe about 30 yards broadside. Hit it just behind the left shoulder and exited just in front of the right shoulder. It buckled right up and went straight down.

I'm satisfied with this caiber so far.

Probably next year I'll reload for the 350 legend. I do want to pick up illuminated scopes for the 350 legend and for my H&R 243 Handi-Rifle.

The season was really good our group harvested ten deer. We could of got more, but we all got what we needed and my brother's freezer is full. We gave two deer away.
There is a local butcher shop that is in the deer harvest program but was full and couldn't except any more deer so we quit shooting them. We still had 18 deer tags left over.

So to the guys that are hunting with the 350 legend.

What is your favorite grain bullet?

And what yardage are you comfortable shooting deer at?

I limit my shots out to around 100 yards or less with the 150 grain factory rounds.

If you want a 350L and don’t want an AR, get the Ruger. I bought a 350 L barrel and 2 magazines for my AR and had a 6 lb Deer rifle for $140. Shoots 2 moa. You will have a fine Deer rifle out to 200 yards.

I like the single-shot rifles. I wanted a Henry but they were unavailable so I bought a CVA 350 single-shot and like it.
One shot is all it takes.
