I'm looking to add a lever action to the collection but can't seem to find what I would consider an ideal rifle. I'm looking for the following features;
1892-1893 Winchester replica
chambered in 357Mag/38Sp
20-22 inch octagonal barrel
stainless steel receive and barrel
maybe a pistol grip stock
non-obnoxious(Taurus hammer lock like the Rossi) or non-existent safety.
Oh and under $1k if possible.

So any suggestions?

I've looked at the Rossi, Marlin and Henry website but haven't found anything that really sparks my interest.

How about a Cimarron model 1873 replica. They make about 8 different rifles and did load in 357mag allong with many other calibers. Nothing better look'n. Price!! Shouls be under a grand

Good luck on your search. I'm glad to see all of the interest in lever guns.

What you are looking for is made by Rossi but imported by Legacy Sports (Puma), EMF, and Navy Arms.

I had a Rossi 38/357 lever action replica in stainless steel. Not only was it good looking, but the action felt as if it had been made by watchmakers.
