I'm looking to add a lever action to the collection but can't seem to find what I would consider an ideal rifle. I'm looking for the following features;
1892-1893 Winchester replica
chambered in 357Mag/38Sp
20-22 inch octagonal barrel
stainless steel receive and barrel
maybe a pistol grip stock
non-obnoxious(Taurus hammer lock like the Rossi) or non-existent safety.
Oh and under $1k if possible.
So any suggestions?
I've looked at the Rossi, Marlin and Henry website but haven't found anything that really sparks my interest.
