Ran my test loads for the silhouette data I received from ramshot via phone. I guess I should have asked but I'll assume it was for jacketed bullets. The ladder ran from 8.4 grains to 9.2 grains in .2 grain increments. The starting load of 8.4 grains felt really good and was the most accurate in my opinion. I did have a flyer but you judge for yourself. I test all pistols at 10 yards as I always have.

8.4 load. I'm sharing a target with my son so extra holes disregard. The load slowly opened up as charge weight went up. The max load I was given was 9.2 grains and the cases just barely started getting sticky extractions so 9.0 is my new limit for this load. The bullet was if your curious was the 154swc noe mold. Seating depth was 1.585. Primer fed 200 spm. max load.

Are you shooting off a bench?

Is the flier in your first target in the bullseye target?

This is not a formal test and I dont shoot pistol competion. The flyers are generally my first shot as I pray the gun doesn't blow up. I have a very healthy fear of trying not to blow my face off. It generally keeps me focused at the bench and knowing I have to pull the trigger later. The first shot of a new bullet and a new powder in an unfamiliar gun is the worst. I have only 2 total range days with this pistol.
