358 winchester ar

there used to be a company, that built a 358 Wincheser rifle, that resembled a sorta FN, or a H & K, Like I said sorta.
I do not remember the name of the company or what happened to that idea, If you could build an ar in 308, or 7.62 nato, I do not know why not.
That would seem to me to be a great hunting gun

AR10s are pretty heavy my 308 weighs 10# dressed, 358 is easy peasy though several vendors do barrels.
