Whereas it is hard to see what is wrong with 45 acp AMERC, it is quite evident with the 38 special and why it will not fit in a Dillon SD she'll holder plate.
That is a PMC case in the middle with an AMERC on each side. There is no extractor cut above the rim on the AMERC and the reason it will not slide into the shell holder.

I've only seen the brass from brass I've picked up at the range. It had the most off-center flash hole you could imagine. Maybe it's a good thing that it won't fit in your shell plate- you may have saved your decapping pin.

There carbine brass is awful as well. They stay in business by being offering cheap ammo for people that don't reload. I toss the stuff in my scrap can.

The original name of the company was FBI Fresh Burgers. You have to think the owners were not very serious with a name like that. According to the SEC, it was changed in 2001 to American Ammunition Inc.

The Special Meeting of Shareholders of FBI Fresh Burgers International, a Nevada corporation (the "Company") will be held at the Company's executive offices at 827 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, on October 8, 2001 at 3:00 p.m., to consider and vote upon a proposal to ratify the change of the name of the company to American Ammunition, Inc.,

The CEO was Artem Gotov

I don't know a single hand loader who uses AMERC brass. I see the spent brass at our club, but I've also seen people pick them up, and pitch them right in the brass bucket.

There are some "deals" just not worth taking.

This is an AMERC case I kept just as a reminder. The primer strike indicates it was not fired in a Glock.
