G'd Day Folks,

I know that .380 ammo is a little hard to come by nowadays but for all you guys out there who have experience with this round, how does it's inherent accuracy compare to other calibers? It's often been said that .45ACP and .38 Special both offer better accuracy compared to other calibers because of predictable ballistics (.45) and manageable recoil (.38). Hence, how does .380 compare to other similar rounds like 9mm makarov or even hotly loaded .32ACP with regard to competition based accuracy? This is assuming that the rounds are fired out of similarly weighted guns.

For reference, I have attached my best .380 group shot at 15 meters with both hands in the standing unsopported position.

Lastly, anyone here ever shoot Armscor ammo from the Philippines? How is it? Dirty? Reliable? Clean? Any opinions? I've been offerred an assortment of Armscor ammo in .38 and .380 for about $10.30/box and would like a THR mark of approval before I buy.

Are you talking about unjacketed, lead only .380? I had a horrible experience with Armscor 9MM. It was my first time shooting unjacketed lead bullets in 9MM. It took hours to get the lead out of the bore. Maybe the slower .380 won't lead up like crazy. .38 SPL should be fine, I guess.

I fired some Armscor .22 mag out of a Single Six a few years back and it had terrible accuracy. It was also pretty dirty. I avoid all Armscor ammunition whenever possible now.
