4 inch vs 5 inch 1911

I personally feel the 4" Commander Length guns balance better than the 3" Micros, however I prefer my 4" with a Compact/Micro frame...the CCO version.

3 o clock mexican carry, butt forward under sweater 4 or 5 is the same thing on a '4 or ;5

OK, so thanks for the great info. I now know exactly what I am looking for but don't know of too many options. I am looking for a Stainless "Compact or CCO" - that is a commander slide/barrel on an Officer Grip. All I got is the 2 listed below. Can anyone add to my list. @ requirements It has to be Stainless and has to be the CCO/Compact commander slide/officer frame combo

I have to go with Clarence on this one. A 5” gun seems to ride better for me. I think the extra length helps to keep
the butt of the gun tucked in tighter to my waist. My jellyroll pushes the butt out to far on a commander and makes
me feel like it wants to come out of the holster. As far as handling and shooting, well I sold both of my commanders.
