40 and 45 ValU pak White box

Wife just came in from Wally World where she saw 40 and 45 cal in 100 round Val-U-paks. So she broiught me two boxes of 40 (thats 200 rounds for those who can't add). Price is $14.95/box.
She didn't know I needed 45 ACP also--so she didn't price it, or buy any.

I was just at the WM and they said they only carried value packs in 9mm. I was dying to get some but what can you do?

Wally World carries the 9mm here in Miami. Sports Authority has the .40 and .45acp. Price is usually $11.95 for both. I shoot a lot of the 9mm in my Brownings and my CZ 75D PCR. No gripes from me.

The 40 and 45 just showed up this week at the Wally World here in southern Indiana. There is already another thread going that I posted to here earlier today. Reports are coming in from all over of sightings so if your Walmart doesn't have it they either sold out already or it will be there when they get their next shipment so hang in there.

Jspy, there is a post in the other thread that Michigan City has some. Check around some of the outlying areas of Indy like Greenwood or down towards Columbus, there's probably some close by if you have time to hunt it down.

I can confirm $19.95 at one of the Wallyworlds in San Antonio for the box of .45. I DIDN'T buy it. There's a gun show in SA at least once per month, sometimes twice - and the price is around $8.50/box for 50 rounds of Winchester .45, depending on the seller. Why pay more, esp. to Wallyworld (I might do so if some local hole-in-the-wall dealer had it for this price, simply to help keep the number of dealers in business higher)?

How do we let Wallyworld know that the appropriate price is somewhere around $16 for this item to be considered a bargain?

$20 bucks for 2 boxes doesn't seem like a deal to me either. I watch the sales and get it for about 8-9 bucks a box.

Besides, I hate wallyworld and what they have done to independant retailers.
