anyone use power pistol in 40 s&w with plated bullets
I am shooting a G22 with extreme 155gr plated rnfp
the Alliant site did not have any plated data,
thanks

Power pistol works just fine in 40 s&w. It seems to work better with 180g in my experience.

I will order some 165 or 180 next still have just over
1k 155 plated left

I've shot 1000 rounds of plated Rainier 155gn with 6.3gn Power Pistol - nice reduced recoil, accurate, and relatively clean. I would not hesitate to use the same charge with Xtreme 155 RNFP, they have been very close in performance to the Rainier when using other powders.

I've had good success with Xtreme 10/40-180 RNFP HPCB with 6.7 gr of P-P out of my XDM and AR.

I also like PP for my .40 loads. I use both the Rainier plated 155 and Hornady XTP 155, 8.2 grains for either bullet in my .40 (Ruger SR40c), and 9.6 in my 10mm (G20).

It also works well in 9mm.

Power Pistol is superb in the .40, but I don't have any 155gr plated data. I do know a book charge of it will send a 155gr JHP to 1250 fps from a 4" G23.
