I'm showing $189 at the link you posted. Is there a "member" price or something?

I hit just the wrong key the price is $ 189.95 for 1000 rounds and from what I have found that seems to be the best price. As far as I kow there is no membership for this website. Has anyone found better prices for decent ammo to be used at the range? Has anyone had any experiance with this ammo or this website that could give a review thanks for your input

I reload most of my ammo, so I am addressing the bullet weight you are choosing. In my carbines, 180g bullets have never worked well. The rate of twist in the short barrel will make it hard for the heavy bullet to stabilize enough for good accuracy. It is like throwing a football. In order to get it to travel accurately for longer distances, it has to be rotating on it's axis. I found some 147g flat nose lead that worked really well. The heavier bullets gave me too many flyers.

If you haven't already done it, buy some rounds in different weights and try them for accuracy and function before you buy any. It can be frustrating to buy a bunch of ammo just because it seems inexpensive, and then find out it doesn't work.

Yes I have bought alot of the bulk packages they sell from their west warehouse in Oregon. They usually sell alot at the gun shows too. The cartridges are ok, they work the action on my glock, and the accuracy is allright.

I have not ordered it yet I am going to get it as general range ammo which would be better in a Hi-Point Carbine and a Smith & Wesson 40VE, 180 grains or 155 grains. Would this brass be any good to reload ?

I bought a can of 500 from them at a gunshow in the fall. The stuff worked well, no complaints from me.

Personally I would buy a smaller quantity of the lighter bullets and give them a try. I am a stickler for consistency in my guns and ammo so I use what actually works in my guns for me, not what some other person or gun likes.

But then I am an obstinate old cuss!
