due to age, joint and bone problems I can't handle much recoil.
I have a double gauge 410 left from my hunting days loaded with 3 inch #4 bird shot that I can shoot if needed.
I would like a pump shot gun with the extra capacity it would provide me.
The local choice at Wal-Mart is a Mossberg 500 410,20ga,or Remington Express 870 20ga.
Would either the 20 ga Mossberg (I think it is a Bantam or Youth model) or the 870 Express with a Remington low recoil target load or bird shot give me any more stopping power without the extra recoil? or should I get the 410?
I think the 410 is a bantam model or youth model.
I would rather go ahead and get a 12ga with 00 buck but this would probably mean to much recoil.
Thanks for anyones help.
