44 Caliber Round Ball Paper Cartridge former.

I'm making a 44 caliber round ball paper cartridge former for my 1858 Remy Army and 1860 Colt Army. What would the length of the taper be? Would this also be the thickness of the block?

Length of taper would match depth of chamber ( 1.22”- 1.38”) & taper from the projectiles diameter or a bit smaller to .30” at the bottom.
