44!-mag full house loads/ p+ how do they...

i was lookin around my reloading info..and see that i can get a 44 load @MAX and come in at 1100 or so fps useing less grain/265/270 bullets.. as the book sayz... so how does "corbon" and others push 1300/1400 fps out of them 300 grain rounds i was looking at my cabelas catolog to see whats out there/price of there mean loads...

Special powders we do not have. They can blend powder to get more from a particular bullet. You can push lead faster than jacketed with the same pressure limits as well.

Speer #13 shows a few 240 Gr loads at 1400+ FPS & their 270 Gr GD at 1300 plus, but only show around 1175ish with 300 jacketed Gr bullets.

Seriously...there's a reason they are as good as they are. They know their craft and have access to certain ingredients we do not have, for better or worse.
