Anybody try it. Not even sure if it's out yet.
I really don't see anything to be gained by putting a pointed bullet in a .44 mag. I think the standard flat nosed ammo is excellent for it's intended use.
.Hornady's ballistics info, 1410fps at the muzzle and 1111fps at 100 yards, when run through the Oehler Ballistic Explorer ballistic coefficient calculator, yield a B.C. of 0.139. Quite a few bullets in the Oehler Bullet Library exceed that, some by quite a bit. The LEVERevolution® does not seem much of a much in comparison
Not sure what all that means but will it kill a deer at 200?
The .357 looks even more promising to me. Now I'd like it if they came out with a .45 colt LE load.
