I think I would go spicy the first time. Going full atomic might be something you warn people about years from now because you have a messed up arthritic dominant hand wrist.one way to find out! 250 grain lead- max H110. Range report SOON
You have a brother named Tracker and you shot him?I shot my brother Tracker years ago, and it’s just the right amount of KICK! them ports really help too
According to several fish and game biologists I talked to, you are correct. Whatever round can kill a person will work just fine on cougars / mountain lions. You have a brother named Tracker and you shot him?
On a side note, I've read that North American cats are fairly lightly built and it doesn't take a thumper .44 to killem.
Also, I know nothing.
That’s gonna be a hoot to shoot!one way to find out! 250 grain lead- max H110. Range report SOON
I couldn’t walk away from that price and condition for a “I don’t Care” .44 mag test & Cougar gun!Is that the last gun you’ll buy in February or the last gun you’ll buy this week?
well, there a bunch of stuff that want to eat or take me here.According to several fish and game biologists I talked to, you are correct. Whatever round can kill a person will work just fine on cougars / mountain lions.
Edit to add: One DFG guy I talked to said “Be fast. Cougars are a heck of a lot faster than humans”.
I’m going to load it HOTT! and wear gloves and double ears!I had one for awhile and really liked it. Was much better to shoot than my model 69 was. I was skeptical that the ports would do anything because of the way they counterbore the end of the barrel but it really does tame it down, and I didn't notice it to be any louder.
Going to the Big Dog of H110 with LPP Mag! See if I can bend the frameCongratulations Mark, smoking deal! Burn you some W296!
Just about. I'm a retired teacher; we could always tell when the moon was full.

I have a 415 41mag, but not the TI. Great little revolver...I'd of jumped on that if still in the buying mode. Have a 2.5" Ti Tracker in .41 Magnum. I chronoed some 250 gr grizzly loads at 1,150 fps and some underwood 230gr SWC at a little over 1,200 fps (1,272 from 2.5" Charter Arms). The Ti Tracker is about 21 oz and the above loads are doable, but a handful.

I've got some loads in that ballpark, for use in a Mountain Gun. They're not unreasonable in that, but not something I want to shoot all afternoon, either.I'd of jumped on that if still in the buying mode. Have a 2.5" Ti Tracker in .41 Magnum.
