Does anyone have any loading data for 44 Rem. Mag. using a 240 gr. LSWC and a 240 gr. JHP/XTP. I have searched all of my books and online data sites with no luck. If you do, what is the data and where did you get it? I want something I can verify.

Also, does anyone have any contact info for Alliant Powder other than there e-mail. I would like a phone # so I can talk to someone.

I have never used Power Pistol but I just checked my new Alliant Reloader's guide for an answer and Power Pistol is not listed for 240 gr bullets in 44 Magnum, but is listed for 200 and 210 gr loads. I will not pretend to guess the answer but would call Alliant @
1-800-276-9337 or email them @ www.alliantpowder.com and talk with an expert. My two cents! :)

Thanks LoadedRound for the number. The reason I ask is because I need to load some rounds and I am out of 2400, but have a full pound of Power Pistol. I will give them a call.

The 2002 Alliant load guide lists .44 Mag - Power Pistol.

MAX load = 14.9 grains - 1663 FPS - 34,000 PSI.

240 JSP
Fed 150 primer - 1.585" OAL.
MAX load = 13.5 grains - 1,400 FPS - 31,900 PSI.

300 grain XTP
Fed 150 primer - 1.600" OAL.
MAX load = 9.1 grains - 1,015 FPS - 34,500 PSI.
