I feel really stupid right now. I had no idea that SAAMI spec was different for .44 mag rifle. I better get some of the larger bullets for my Marlin.

Just curious, why is it different? There must be a good reason to do something so odd.
I'm working from memory here, but IIRC the difference is because Marlin was the first SAAMI member to chamber a rifle in .44 Remington Magnum and their Micro Groove rifling worked best (with jacketed bullets) at .431".

SAAMI standards are voluntary, manufacturers don't have to follow them unless they want to (or their lawyers/insurance company tells them they have to).

I wouldn't recommend running out and buying larger diameter bullets without doing some research. The oversize Micro Groove barrels are designed to work with standard .429" jacketed bullets, it's generally cast bullets that can be problematic with the .431" groove diameter.

Thanks, I'll do more research.
