Allrighty,
Having it sitting on the desk calling out to me was stronger than my will to wait for all of my reloading gear.
I took three speedloaders to the range, to see what I had gotten myself in to.
I must say, I've fired a bit of 44 in my day...along with my fair share of other revolvers and calibers.
This is not like anything I've ever felt in .44.... it felt like a hot .38 snub.
I'm not sure if its the porting, the grip, the weight of the piece, or more than likely a combination of all three....but it works.
3 loaders was all it took to tell me it also needs a very serious sight adjustment. Very nice line of holes 6" from the bullseye to the left. I held my last shot about 6" to the right of the bull, and put it right on the 10 ring ( at ten yards).
Thankfully, it has easily adjustable sights....but I was out of rounds, and screwdrivers.
This is gonna be a very fun summer !
