I am still searching the archives, but while I am at it:
Has anyone loaded a 45-70 case with shot (pellets)? Would you share your load, complete with primer type, powder and charge, shotcup, etc etc?
I am more interested in small 'snake' shot, as opposed to the 'garrison' cartridge with 3 or 4 big balls; and I found the Speer 45 shot capsules way too loose in the case.
So unless someone tells me a pre-made wad or cup fits, i figure i will be punching out wads from cork or cardboard, and may be wrapping the pellets in zig-zag paper to function as a cup. Anyway, i am looking for ideas on that but most helpful would be someone's successful loads of this type!
