What is the difference going to be between the .451 and the .452 LRNBB in my Springfield Armory 45 ACP compact when reloading. (I have .451)

Most of the reloading data that I have found shows .451 plated or jacketed bullets and .452 LRN. Which data do I follow?

thanks in advance.

Jacketed bullet diameter has always been .451" Cast and lead swaged has been .452" Many things come into play, groove diameter of your bore. Wall thickness of your Brass. If you have a .451" groove barrel and thick walled brass, your OK. When the bullet is loaded, it should not be pushed back into the case by hand. And as said below, use lead bullet data.

To answer your question, if you have lead bullets, you need to use lead bullet data, regardless of the bullet size measurement.

Lead bullets produce less pressure then jacketed bullets of the same weight.
