My favorite .45 carry gun is my Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II.

RIA 3.5 inch tactical. With even a passable belt the weight is a non issue.

My choice is a Glock 30. With the .45 I want as close as I can get to that 4" magic number when it comes to barrel length, while maintaining the 10+1 capacity. The PT145 and others with 3"-3.25" barrels are just a bit too short for my liking (re:ballistic performance).
