I need a great 45 for concealed carry

I am 68 6' 190lbs, replacement hips, so I am not real quick on my feet. I carry in the summer a Kimber 3" 45 acp in my back pocket loaded with 185 xtp or 200 swc. Winter time in IA the problem people wear heavy clothing even fur coats, so I carry a 1911 Colt 5" loaded with 240 g jfp or 230 swc as they will penetrate, I carry in a cross draw rig. This a Colt series 70 and needed some tricking out to feed all ammo.
